Filter Applications

XECO crystals make excellent filters due to high quality crystal surface and low etch channel density achieved.

Excellent crystal responses are possible with good electrode design and tigh manufacturing controls.  Shown here is the RM098 at 160MHz using a small electrode using XECO 100 % Aluminium electrode process with special electrode design.  SM141 provide same performance and fit 5mm mounts.

SM141 , RR196, and RM098 are used for filter applications.

Customer making MCF filter crystals may take advantage of XECO precision plating to place electrodes.  XECO ability to etch the mesa on a single side only provides the option to place multiple electrodes without constraint of a mesa transition.
